Lawful Interception Standards project

Following a need put forward by Europol and EU LEA in 2025, and to address the evolution of technology, a new course on Lawful Interception and Telecommunication Standards (5G/6G) will be developed with guidance from and in collaboration with Europol and its Advisory Group on Research and Development, and contributions from LEAs and Academic experts.

A Basic Level course on the subject will be designed based on requirements established by the high-level group and experts involved, aiming to be online and self-paced. Topics to be included are: Introduction to Standardisation in Telecommunications, Telecommunications Technologies, Lawful Interception (LI) and Lawful Disclosure (LD) in Telecommunication Networks.

A potential Advanced Level course will be considered after the completion of the work on this introductory Module.
