Course Aim

The aim of this course is to provide students with general and practical knowledge of Internet Investigation at an intermediate level. Training will encompass latest best practice, technologies and techniques available to Law Enforcement Specialists.

Prerequisites

Students are expected to have successfully participated in basic training for High Tech Crime Investigators. They will have normally completed the ECTEG Introductory IT Forensics and Network Investigations Course.

Students will need to be able to understand and communicate in English.

To enable students to fully participate in the discussions relating to legislation, it is recommended that prior to attendance students undertake research in respect to their own country’s legislation and how it may impact their investigations
