The ISEC 2008 Cybercrime Investigation Training Project was officially launched in September 2009. It is run with the financial support of:
- European Commission,
- University College Dublin (Ireland)
- An Garda Siochana (Ireland)
- National Police Improvement Agency (United Kingdom)
- Landesamt für Aus- und Fortbildung und Personalangelegenheiten der Polizei NRW (Germany)
and a total of 27 partners, including international organisations such as CEPOL, Europol, Interpol, UNODC and the US Secret Service.
The expected delivery of this project should be:
- To develop and run a pilot MSc program in cybercrime investigations, based on previously developed modules,
- To create, run and evaluate three additional training modules:
