Octopus Interface Conference

ECTEG and cybercrime training in general are on the agenda at this year’s Octopus Interface conference at the Council of Europe, from March 23^rd to 25^th 2010.

In particular, the first workshop titled “Cybercrime training for judges and prosecutors” will be co-chaired by Nigel Jones (Technology Risk Limited, UK) and Esther George (Crown Prosecution Service, UK) and will host presentations by:

- Christina Schulman (Head of cybercrime unit, Council of Europe)

- Nicola Di Leone (Europol) on ECTEG

- Nigel Jones (TRL, UK) on 2CENTRE

- Christiaan Baardman (Judge, court of appeal, NL)

- Myriam Quemener (Judge, court of appeal of Versailles, FR)

- Esther George (Crown prosecution service, UK) on GPEN

- Pedro Verdelho (Centre for judicial studies, Lisbon, PT)

- Mohamed Moheb (Centre for judicial studies, Egypt)

- David O’Reilly (University College Dublin, IE) – UCD is also an ECTEG partner
